These terms apply when you use lapwellcats.com (the "store") or buy from Lapwell ("we", "us"). By using the store or placing an order, you agree to them. Our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy also form part of these terms.

1. Using the store

You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory to place an order. Don't use the store for anything unlawful, or try to interfere with how it works.

2. Products

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Colours can look slightly different on screens, and measurements are approximate. Battery life depends on how often your cat drinks and which mode you use.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in Canadian dollars and include shipping within Canada. We may change prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders you've already placed. Payments are processed securely by Shopify and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card details.

4. Orders

Your order is confirmed when we email you an order confirmation. We may cancel and fully refund an order if a product is unavailable, a price was listed in error, or we suspect fraud.

5. Shipping, returns and refunds

Shipping times and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds follow our Refund Policy, including our 30-day money-back guarantee.

6. Using your fountain safely

Follow the instructions included with your fountain. Keep water fresh, clean the fountain regularly and replace the filter as recommended. The fountain is not a substitute for veterinary care. If you're worried about your cat's health or hydration, please talk to your vet.

7. Content

The text, photos and design on this store belong to Lapwell or are used with permission. Please don't copy them without asking.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws in your province or territory.
